The first ever national level esports championship, MEC 2020/2021 was held throughout December 2020 and January 2021, with total grand prize of RM100,000 offered. About 3,600 teams were registered, more than 11,000 players validated, with more than 1.6 million viewership numbers. Winner of MLBB category qualifies for MPL MY Qualifiers Top 8 and winner of PUBGM category qualifies to PMNC MYSG.

In collaboration with MDEC’s Level Up KL 2020, ESI held the virtual conference session on 28th and 29th November 2020. 5 topics were discussed, covering many aspects and interest points within the gaming and esports industry. Some notable panelist includes, Wan Hazmer (Metronomik), Frank Ng (Orange eSports), Kevin Wong (Wulf Esports), Caitlin Kang (ESL) and YB Senator Wan Ahmad Fayhsal, Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports.

In collaboration with Spacerubix, Kita eFest 2020 is a virtual festival featuring musical performances, sharing session and breakaway esports stream by MissRose Gaming.

ESI Challenge Kaki Bola Edition involves a total of 8 players consist of celebrities, football players, pro-gamers and streamers will be competing playing FIFA21. The winner of this event will receive RM5,000. The main goal for this event is to provide a platform for Esports talents to expose their skills in the field of Esports and to turn it into a potential professional career.

ESI Charity Stream Takeover is a 20-day charity stream takeover conducted by the nation's 20 top streamers!

ESI Challenge Women's Edition was held on the 9th October 2020. 20 female streamers around Malaysia were competing against each other. They are all grouped randomly in 4 groups with 5 team members each. The event was streamed LIVE on Facebook Page Esports Integrated, KBS Malaysia, Utusan Online, Kosmo Online, eGG Network and Twitch @esportsintegrated.

ESI’s first ever showmatch held on 31st August 2020, this Merdeka-themed edition featured Sahok and the famed Team Bosskur.

Official launch ceremony was held on 1st October 2020 at Majestic Hotel, and was attended by the Minister of Youth and Sports, YB Dato’ Sri Reezal Merican Naina Merican and Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports, YB Senator Wan Ahmad Fayhsal Wan Ahmad Kamal.
